It’s More Fun in Bicol!

Philippines as what everybody identifies, is a country which is known for its abundant and productive destination when we speak in terms of natural resources and also for being rich in natural attractions. It is a perfect place where tourists and guests can happily spend their holidays, vacations, leisure time and at the same time for family togetherness etc.

Our country is very popular in the tourism tagline which is, “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” by Mr.Ramon Jimenez, Jr. as the current secretary in the Department of Tourism. An industry which is far beyond from other foreign countries that has also similar perspective in making the destination notorious worldwide.Even though everyone is exposed to variety of fine-looking attractions, hence, they don’t fathom yet the meaning for its existence.

We, Filipinos are likewise comparable with regards in maintaining the development for sustainability of tourism industry in the country as well as in our very own region, Bicol.

And for the sake of knowing more this particular tourist destination is that, it has bountiful and exceptional native handicrafts that areoriginally made by the residents themselves. Bicolanos are very resourceful in making native products in identity for its unusual creation because, even the resources we considered as disasters in the environment, we then made use of it into more useful final products which will help them generate more the economy and along with including it as their way of living as well deliberated to be one of their livelihood program. And you can witness nowadays, that these native products are therefore produced for multi-purpose uses.

The Bicol region is composed of people who are called oragons, wherein as a bicolano, we have the blood that we should be proud of, because we are eligibly included to this individuals. Other than that, we are competitive in relation with enhancing and creating good quality for environmental and social impact for community. This dwelling as tourist destination is not only popular for these newly existing products but also known for its variety of beautiful, legendary, extravagant yet eco-friendly and natural tourist’s attractions or even destinations that are being discovered little by little. In addition to this, there’s many more like showing the bicolano cuisines, culture, historical heritages and others which are indeed exposed to us and other countries as well.  In order for more tourist arrivals and visitors to enter our place, we need to patronize and promote our very own striking places and to appreciate more the wonders of nature.

Here are some stunning and commonly known tourist destinations in the Bicol region.

·        Mayon Volcano in Legazpi City, Albay

This was taken last semester in our Bikol History TourJ

Even it is always repeatedly included in the tour yet I still do enjoy watching the perfect cone of this volcano.  It is worth it when you walk all through out for one goal which is to be on the top of the hill and totally see the beauty of the attraction.

Until I reached the top. Yehey!..It’s really fulfilling to see from your effort that it will result into certain achievements.

MACAGANG BUSINESS CENTER HOTEL & RESORT

This destination is not quite much known but then visiting it and experiencing the resort was very much fulfilling. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and resort because they have complete facilities like gym, diner, convention area, reception and others. And above all I do take pleasure in swimming and going to slides for many times which makes us laugh when we totally dived on the water.

  Buhi as our chosen destination for tourism promotion subject last year. 
  
  From our major subject for promotion we decided to pick the choice for rinconada area. Especially Buhi because the town is famous for the fish called sinarapan or tabios, the smallest edible commercial fish in the world.
   
•  ITBOG FALLS- Twin Falls of Buhi

We did have long walk just to finally reach our destination from boat riding and getting our skin burned under the sun. Because it’s still far distance from the arrival area of the boat. Then from reaching this twin falls which is one of the town’s attractions, we, as a final point everybody got wet and get the chance to swim all over again. Such an extravagant and nice experience.

• SINARAPAN

 And also as we go through our travel in knowing more the place we saw the Itbog falls as twin falls in town. And there were also several spring resorts located in Buhi and other waterfalls aside from Itbog falls. 

And experiencing the vicinity of the place and eating the famous edible fish.

In addition, it is the very trending tourist attraction in Bicol and it really loved by my nephews all way back in summer.
