PLACES TO BE TREASURED…..

GOD created so many wonderful creatures that will satisfy the needs and wants of humans. Some of these are natural attractions to be considered. However, because of the greatdesires of some people to fulfill their wants these natural attractions turn into unacceptable condition. On the other hand, there are still stewards that taking good care of these God’s creation. Some of these attractions are found at Partido Area of Camarines Sur. These natural attractions are the asset on what we called TOURISM.

As we can see, Tourism plays a vital role in today’s economy. “Sa Turismo, may Trabaho” as what ex-DOT Sec. Ace Durano says. Because of Tourism there are lots of opportunities opened to our fellowmen that will surely uplift their status in life. As what I’ve realized from being a Tourism student, it is not necessarily a need to build infrastructuresjust to attract tourists but try to develop the natural attractions that can be found in your place. I am grateful that I lived in a place where there are lots of attractions to be proud of. Here is some of those magnificent God’s creation that brings enjoyment and relaxation to the people.

PILGRIMAGE…Let us not forget to thank God first for everything we have right now. Being a pilgrim is not only for those religious people but also for those who continuously remember Him as our Divine Creator.. let us value our being God-fearing..There are 19th-century churches in Goa, San Jose and Sagñay.

ISLAND HOPPING.. Be mesmerized on different islands that can only be found at Partido.. COME AND EXPERIENCE the white sand beaches among different islands!

 (Hunungan Island, Cotivas Island, Sabitang-Laya Island, Lahuy Island, Matukad Island and Tinago Island that c be found at Caramoan. Atulayan Island is located at Sagñay.)

Atulayan Island comes from the word “atoll” which means islet that is like a snail.

REVITALIZING WATERFALLS..Not one but more refreshing waterfalls to enjoy!

These three (3) awesome waterfalls that can be found at Consocep, Tigaon, Camarines Sur will surely relax the tired body and refresh the entire feeling.

(Tumaguiti Falls because you will feel the tiny rain drops before reaching the falls. In Bicol it is called as “tagiti”.)

Sibaguan Falls is the only falls discovered so far at Sagñay. Later on, I believed that there would be another discovered falls in the place since it is surrounded by nature.

FESTIVAL.. Each places has its own festivities to be celebrated.

Guipao Festival in Sagñay. This festival portrays the main source of living of Sagñaynons which is fishing. Every November, on the Feast day of their Patron Saint (St. Andrew the Apostle) which is known for being the fisher of men of God. Each school in the town joined in this important event as they give thanks and patronize their patron.
